WebDo you remember using 300 baud modems and bulletin boards that were early very basic chat rooms. My original modem was an acoustically coupled 300 baud where you jammed the phone into a pair of rubber cups. Next came 1200 baud, then 4800, then 9600, and somewhere in the past I think we jumped to 56K (?).
